Refund policy

Every After Dark edition is a small, numbered print run made for collectors. All sales are final. This page says plainly what that means, and what happens if something arrives damaged or a package goes missing. If anything here does not cover your situation, email us at info@itsalovestoryafterdark.com and a real person will sort it out.

Preorders

Our editions are sold as preorders. You pay when you order, and the book ships when the print run is finished and lands with us. The expected shipping window is shown on the edition's page when you order, and we post progress on our Shipping Update page as the run moves along. If the window changes, you will hear it from us first by email.

All sales are final

Because each edition is a small, limited print run, all sales are final. Once your order is placed we cannot cancel it, refund it, or exchange it for change of mind, whether that is before or after it ships. Please read the edition details and the shipping window carefully before you order, and double-check your shipping address at checkout.

This does not apply to a copy that arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, or to a package that goes missing. Those are on us, and the sections below say exactly what we do.

Damaged, defective, or wrong

If your edition arrives damaged, has a printing or binding defect, or is not what you ordered, email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos of the issue and the packaging. We will replace the copy if we have stock to do it. If we do not, we will refund you in full. Please hold on to the book and the packaging until we have talked, in case the carrier needs to see it.

Small variations are part of a handmade-feeling object: sprayed edges, foil, and printed colors can differ slightly from the mockups shown on the site, and that alone is not a defect.

Lost or undelivered packages

Every order ships with tracking. If your tracking has not moved for 10 days, or shows delivered and you do not have it, email us and we will open a claim with the carrier and ship a replacement when we can, or refund you if we cannot. Please double-check your shipping address before you order and let us know right away if it changes.

One copy per reader

Each edition is limited to one copy per reader so as many collectors as possible can have one. Orders that get around this limit may be cancelled and refunded.
